# Supported currencies and blockchains

> Currencies and blockchains supported by Digital Asset Accounts

## Supported currencies

| Currency | API currency code | Description                                                                |
| -------- | ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| USDC     | `USD`             | A dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Circle, redeemable 1:1 for US dollars |
| EURC     | `EUR`             | A euro-backed stablecoin issued by Circle, redeemable 1:1 for euros        |

## Supported blockchains

Digital Asset Accounts supports the blockchains listed below. Deposit addresses
and outbound transfers are available on each blockchain.

## Fiat currencies

Wire deposits and withdrawals support the following fiat currencies:

| Fiat currency | Stablecoin | Direction              |
| ------------- | ---------- | ---------------------- |
| USD           | USDC       | Deposit and withdrawal |
| EUR           | EURC       | Deposit and withdrawal |

Wire deposits are automatically minted into the corresponding stablecoin. Wire
withdrawals automatically redeem the stablecoin for fiat and initiate a bank
transfer.
